supervision

Supervision for the clinician — and person — you're becoming.

Most therapists graduate with little training in talking openly about sex—even as more clients seek out therapists who can discuss it comfortably. If this feels like a gap in your practice, you're not alone. Erin offers AASECT-approved supervision for licensed therapists at any career stage ready to build that skill.

Erin's expertise sits at the intersection of culture, attachment, somatics, and sexuality. She integrates Attachment-Focused EMDR and Somatic Experiencing, and works extensively with LGBTQIA+ folks, BIPOC clients, sex workers, kink communities, polyamorous clients, neurodivergent clients, and survivors of intergenerational trauma, abuse, and neglect—bringing significant cross-cultural experience to this work.

She brings this same lens to supervision, helping you understand both your cases and yourself at that intersection. Supervision is a space to build confidence, sharpen clinical skills, and grow more fluent in conversations about gender, sexuality, relationships, trauma, and neurodivergence.

Erin is fully trained in Attachment-Focused EMDR, using a structured approach to help clients process trauma and distressing experiences while building emotional stability. She may also draw on Sensate Focus—structured, touch-based exercises partners practice at home to ease anxiety and rebuild connection—and, as a Somatic Experiencing therapist, helps clients build body awareness to recognize patterns and move toward greater wholeness.

Think of supervision as a standing appointment with your own growth—the goal is for sex and sexuality to become just another thread in the therapeutic conversation, not a specialty you reach for only when it comes up.

FORMATS & FEES

         Individual Supervision

Dedicated space to work through your caseload, your countertransference, and your growth edges — paced to your certification timeline.

Individual supervision fees are structured according to individual financial capacity and access to resources:

  • Redistribution: $255–$300

  • Full Fee: $250

  • Sustain: $200–$245

  • Solidarity: $150–$195 (reserved for trans therapists)

  • Pre-licensed: $150

           Group Supervision

Learn alongside a small cohort of fellow clinicians pursuing AASECT certification, with peer case consultation and shared cultural humility work.

THINKING ABOUT STARTING YOUR OWN PRACTICE?

Erin has spent years as a small-group psychotherapy practice owner — offering a sliding scale to expand client access and real benefits for her staff. For supervisees interested in eventually building a practice of their own, she offers guidance grounded in an ethical, equitable, and sustainable lens: build a practice you can be proud of, not merely one that makes money.

The goal is to learn to think simultaneously about clinical quality, worker wellbeing, access, equity, compliance, and financial sustainability. We always ask:  "If the practice became very successful, what would we want that success to look like?"
